Mr. Beskar joined Chesterton Academy as Superintendent and Headmaster of the Edina campus in 2015. He has served as a high school math/science and humanities teacher, coach, and administrator since 1990.
Mr. Olley oversees all fundraising, public relations, and community outreach for the school. He also serves as the Boys’ Basketball coach. Mr. Olley holds a Master of Arts in Education from Viterbo College.
Mrs. Krueger is a veteran teacher of private, public, and homeschool education. She has taught history, literature, writing, drama, Scripture, geometry, pre-calculus, physics, and biology.
Mr. Jones has taught and developed the Fine Arts curriculum at Chesterton Academy since 2012. His prior experience includes teaching undergraduate university courses, private students, professional workshops, and public school classes.
Mrs. Ahlquist was a founding member of Chesterton Academy and helped develop the Fine Arts Curriculum at Chesterton, and since then has taught Spanish, Music and Drama. Mrs. Ahlquist also serves as Academic Dean.
Mrs. Pamela Patnode
Mrs. Patnode teaches Spanish and Theology. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, has a Master of Arts in Theology from the Augustine Institute, and is a Registered Instructor with the Institute for Excellence in Writing.
Fr. Adam Tokashiki, PES
Fr. Adam Tokashiki, PES, serves as Chesterton Academy's Chaplain. He says daily Mass for the school, teaches formation classes, leads retreats, spiritual clubs, and activities, and offers spiritual direction and confession.
A founding faculty member of Chesterton Academy, Mr. Ahlquist has played a role in developing the school’s curriculum in history, philosophy and literature. He received his bachelor's from Christendom College in Theology and Philosophy.
Br. Joe Barron, PES
Br. Joe Barron is one of the first graduates of Chesterton Academy, Class of 2011. He joined Pro Ecclesia Santa in 2012, making his temporal vows in 2015. Br. Joe is currently in his second year of his Master in Divinity at the St. Paul Seminary.
Mr. Berke is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He served with NET Ministries for four years before joining Teach for Christ, where he served and taught at Chesterton Academy.
Mr. Billion joined the Chesterton Academy in 2017. Prior to Chesterton Academy, Mr. Billion held the role of Teaching Fellow with the Alliance for Catholic Education and earned his M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame.
Miss Bormes is a founding faculty member at Chesterton Academy and teaches Theology and Speech. In addition to teaching, she is a popular author, speaker, and radio host.
Mr. Broberg has a bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, and astronomy from Benedictine College and a master’s degree in physics from Ohio State University. He taught physics and astronomy at Savannah State University and Savannah Technical College.
Mr. Cantillon is a graduate of Conception Seminary College and also holds a Master of Art in Theology from Ave Maria University. This is his second year serving at Chesterton Academy through Teach for Christ.
Sr. Cinthya Carmona, PES
Sister Cynthia joined Pro Ecclesia Sancta in 2006 and has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Sr. Cynthia assists Fr. Adam in his duties as Chaplain. She is also Chesterton Academy's photographer.
Mr. Chalmers serves as the Director of Choirs for both campuses. He earned a bachelor’s in music and history from St. Olaf College in 2007 and a Master of Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota in 2017.
Mr. Charmoli is a graduate of Chesterton Academy, Class of 2012. He attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and received a bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education before joining the faculty at Chesterton Academy in 2016.
Dr. James Chastek
Dr. James Chastek graduated from Thomas Aquinas College in 2000, received an MA from Claremont Graduate University in 2005, and a Ph. L and Ph. D. from the Pontifical University of Thomas Aquinas in Rome (The Angelicum).
Miss Eby is a graduate of Wyoming Catholic College where she earned her degree in liberal arts. She has experience tutoring as well as working with students in outdoor leadership programs.
Mr. Finke graduated from Xavier University in classical languages. He taught for five years prior to joining Chesterton Academy in 2018, delighting his students in Latin, Greek, drama, and the sciences.
Mrs. Hertelendy is the new Italian instructor at Chesterton. She has a Bachelor of Arts in both Italian and Chinese, along with a Master of Arts in Chinese.
Mr. Lechner joined Chesterton Academy in 2018 after teaching at Northridge Preparatory School in Chicago, IL. He received his degree in English and Catholic studies from the University of St. Thomas.
Mrs. Metzinger joined the Chesterton Academy Fine Arts department in 2018. She studied music at the Queensland University of Technology with a major in Classical Voice and a minor in Jazz Voice.
Miss Rick is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics. She is serving at Chesterton Academy through Teach for Christ.
Sr. Emy Ychikawa, PES
Mrs. Basgall joined Chesterton Academy in July 2017 as the Director of Admissions, Enrollment and School Operations, overseeing the daily operations of the school including enrollment, parent communications and student events.
Margot came to Chesterton Academy in 2017 through her involvement in the American Chesterton Society. Before working at Chesterton, she was the Controller for a company producing shows for the Home and Garden Television (HGTV) Network.
Mrs. Lindholm joined Chesterton in 2017 to oversee Virtus and E-3 Compliance for members of our school community. Before coming to Chesterton, Mrs. Lindholm gained experience working in recruiting and management positions in California.
Mrs. Loomis will be returning for her second year as Campus Coordinator for the St. Paul campus. She graduated from St. Catherine's College in St. Paul with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Miss Posch is a graduate of Chesterton Academy, Class of 2012. After completing her degree in biology from Ave Maria University, she served as founding Executive Director of Teach for Christ. Miss Posch joined Chesterton Academy in 2018.
Mrs. Rogers joined Chesterton Academy in 2017 as Office Manager and Executive Assistant. She has worked for St. Raphael Catholic Church in Crystal for 20 years.
Mrs. Schaibley is a graduate of St. Cloud State University where she received her bachelor's degree in community psychology. Mrs. Schaibley also attended Bethel University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in counseling psychology.
