Chesterton Academy’s House system is drawn from the 1,000 year-old tradition of Christian education exemplified in the colleges at Oxford and Cambridge. The Houses provide real, tangible community within the larger school, giving students the opportunity to take ownership, fulfill the call to leadership, and to cultivate the ideal conditions for virtue. Each House has two Senior and two Junior prefects, two faculty advisors, and several parent liaisons.
Congratulations to the House of Athanasius!
2017-18 WINNERS OF THE White Horse Cup
Chesterton Academy’s full-time chaplain, Father Adam Tokashiki, PES leads the spiritual life of our school with help from other members of the Pro Ecclesia Sancta community. Students enjoy retreats, Adoration, formation classes, and ongoing opportunities for service.
We are also blessed by the support of Father Joseph Johnson, pastor of Church of the Holy Family in St. Louis Park, and Father John Paul Erickson, pastor of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. Father Johnson and Father Erickson have a presence on campus and celebrate Mass for the students.
Rome & Assisi
Every other year, Chesterton Academy juniors and seniors have the opportunity for a pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi, Italy. They encounter relics from the saints, sing for the Holy Father and see in real life the wonders of the ancient churches in the Eternal City.
Next Pilgrimage - March 2019
We are delighted to announce that Father Joseph Johnson will lead our pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi again this year. Included in our itinerary will be a gathering with students from our sister school, Scuola Chesterton in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy.
Chesterton Academy students join hundreds of thousands of peaceful protestors in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, giving a voice to the voiceless.
Next March for Life DC Pilgrimage

Chesterton Academy will again join the delegation from the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis to travel with fellow high school students from the Twin Cities. In addition to the national rally, we will attend the Students for Life conference.
