These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://chestertonacademy.org (the “Site”), operated by Chesterton Academy of the Twin Cities (“Chesterton Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Permitted use
You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, its server, or any connected system
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or the networks it relies on, including by introducing malicious code
- Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect content, images, or contact information from the Site
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization
- Use the Site to transmit unsolicited commercial messages, harassing content, or unlawful material
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the content on the Site, including text, images, photographs, video, audio, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Chesterton Academy or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and print Site content for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or attribution notices. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, republication, or commercial use, requires our prior written permission.
The Chesterton Academy name, crest, and logo are used under the school’s rights and the rights of the Chesterton Schools Network, and may not be used without permission.
Submissions
If you submit information through a form on the Site, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through a general web form. Handling of information you submit is described in our Privacy Policy.
If you send us ideas, suggestions, photographs, or other materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use them in connection with the school’s mission and communications, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Photography and media
Photographs and video of students, families, faculty, and events appear on the Site under the media release permissions the school obtains through enrollment and event registration. If you believe an image of you or your student has been published in error, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
Third-party links and services
The Site may link to or embed content from websites and services we do not control, including the Chesterton Schools Network, parishes, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, and third-party form, giving, and media providers. We provide these links for convenience and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, their content, products, services, or practices. Your use of a third-party site or service is governed by that party’s terms and policies.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Calendars, Mass times, event details, tuition figures, admissions deadlines, and program descriptions are subject to change. Please contact the school office to confirm anything you intend to rely on.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chesterton Academy and its board members, officers, employees, faculty, chaplains, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chesterton Academy and the individuals listed above from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these terms.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Revisions take effect when posted, and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Your continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
